Crime Prevention Seminar Held for International Students – - 九州言語教育学院

Recently, we invited police officers to our school to conduct a “Crime Prevention Seminar” for our international students.
During the seminar, the students received an easy-to-understand explanation of various rules and precautions that are important for living safely and securely in Japan.
The seminar covered a range of important topics related to daily life, including how to properly manage residence cards, how to sort and dispose of garbage correctly, rules and etiquette to follow when living in Japan, traffic rules, and precautions to take when riding a bicycle.
In particular, regarding bicycle use, the students reviewed important traffic rules for riding safely, such as obeying traffic signals, riding on the left side of the roadway, and not using or looking at a smartphone while riding.
Lifestyle customs and rules may differ between Japan and the students’ home countries. We hope that everyone will apply what they learned during the seminar to their daily lives, follow the rules and proper etiquette, and enjoy a safe and secure life in Japan.
